meet Simon.

engineer . educator . design addict

Simon is passionate about structural engineering and he is South London based designer. He is a professionally qualified Chartered Structural Engineer (CEng) registered with the Engineering Council, a member of the Institution of Structural Engineer (MIStructE), a member of the Institution of Civil Engineering (MICE) and a member of the Engineers Ireland (MIEI).

He led a team of engineers in large scale commercial and residential projects working with major world-renowned Architects and Contractors. His work now focuses on smaller residential development and have numerous years of experience in residential properties undergoing substantial refurbishment. He is one of the top engineers in the industry who thrives on creative solutions for complex engineering projects. The goal is to provide sustainable engineering solutions while maximising the value for clients.

Relentlessly making an impact in the industry, his leadership is pioneering and reshaping the higher education in engineering in the UK. Outside of his usual practice, he volunteers in many professionally related activities. He was invited as judge in many design competitions nationally.

Simon is the past Chair of the IStructE North Thames Regional Group in 2021. He is the marking examiner and professional review interviewer of the IStructE since 2019. He serves on the committee since 2015. He also served on the regional executive board in the ICE and Vice Chair of Diversity and Inclusion in ICE London. He is currently the Treasurer of the HKIE UK Chapter.
